2023 is here

2023 is here, and it looks to be an exciting year!

Right before the start of the new year I had an opportunity to visit the North East Ohio radio station WYSU. We talked about my new album WIND, the backstory, and the recording process.

Take a listen to the interview HERE.

In January I got to return to my chamber music festival in Kaufbeuren.

I am not completely sure when we started it, since the first few times were a small format, but I think we are now in our 15th year.

This year we worked with 32 participants on piano and violin, and the week was filled to the brim with coachings, master classes, and concerts.

On the top left my colleague Julia Kuhn and I are performing Beethoven’s brilliant Kreutzer Sonata. The right top shows our technique workshop, and below we are taking a group photo after one of our student concerts.

Next up for me is a series of concerts and presentations.

February highlights are a solo recital, a concert with my duet partner Ralitsa, and a series of pre-concert lectures for the Cleveland Orchestra.

Reinberger Hall is the site of the Cleveland Orchestra pre-concert lectures.

In the online webinars MUSIC IN DEPTH we take a closer look at the pieces the orchestra performs. The webinars are open to the public and free or charge. If you would like to attend one of my online MUSIC IN DEPTH webinars simply sign up here.

This is the next one:

2023 really did start with a bang, and I am so excited to share my music with you throughout the year.
