CHICAGO - taking the WIND album to the Windy City

What an honor to present a recital at the prestigious Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University.

I loved playing in Galvin Recital Hall. The view overlooking Lake Michigan and the skyline of the city is truly breathtaking!

Warm-up time in Galvin Hall

Chicago is often called the Windy City, so I just had to bring some pieces from my WIND album. I opened with Francois Couperin’s ‘Little Windmills’, and included Claude Debussy’s ‘What the Westwind saw’ and Charles Griffes’ ‘The Night Winds’.

Musicians love talking with musicians, and I enjoyed my time with my dear colleagues Dr. Sylvia Wang and Dr. Michael Boyd.

Thank you for an inspiring and truly unforgettable visit!
