PIFA 2016

I had the privilege of playing at PIFA 2016 -- Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts! This major 16-day festival is presented by the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts with the goal of celebrating art and community. I was invited to play during the final day of the festival -- a street fair taking place on Broad Street.

You will notice I played the piano in a giant sand box in the middle of the street! Certainly not a typical environment for a performance, but very creative and engaging for the community; I loved it. As you can see in this video, many people stopped by to hear a bit of classical music in an unconventional location.

Special thanks is extended to the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, PIFA, and artistic director Jay Wahl.
