My year 2025 ended with a beautiful Atlantic crossing aboard Queen Mary 2. This time I decided to include some large scale works in my recitals: Beethoven’s Waldstein Sonata and Brahms’ third Piano Sonata. The audience loved it, and enthusiastically embraced the longer works that are typically more demanding for the listener. It was absolutely magical to perform for such an attentive audience on the magnificent ocean liner as we crossed the Atlantic.
