MAY - Concerts and Presentations

May is here, my birthday month! I have always loved this time of the year.

Spring is always a super busy time for me. I just finished a set of three preview lectures for the Cleveland Orchestra. On the program was Mozart’s C major piano concerto K503 and Elgar’s first symphony. I usually watch the show on the first night:

Just before the previews I returned from Corpus Christi, Texas in the very South of the state near the Mexican border where I was invited for a solo recital and masterclass. I really enjoyed my visit and of course the brilliant Texan hospitality!

Since we are at the end of the concert season, and also at the end of the academic year, I got to spend lots of fun time with my university students.

At Steinway Gallery Cleveland (top left) with the obligatory post show dinner (top right), a fun photo with my graduate student Wilhelmine Loe after her brilliant recital (bottom left), and a group photo after my last preview lecture at Severance Hall in Cleveland (bottom right). So much fun to spend time with all of them!
